Luthier Gringhuis is a customer driven luthier atelier/workshop providing tailored quality “handmade”guitars, repairs and restorations. Authentic designs are used and altered where needed to fit customer needs/wishes.

Luthier Gringhuis believes that the use of natural materials is necessary, superior and sustainable.

In instrument making the 80/20 rules do not apply. It is time, effort, passion and craftsmanship that creates a truly unique high quality instrument that is inspiring and comfortable to the player.

Luthier Gringhuis believes that the listening ear is very important to understand the customers needs and wishes.

I believe that it is not all about sound and design. Sustainability, setup and playability is a big thing next to these.

Real craftsmanship is harder and harder to find in this ever growing digitalized word. Therefore is has been and still is a personal quest to chase authenticity and sustainability in work and materials and showing/sharing this with the world.

Luthier Gringhuis has a “hands on” mentality and is easily accessible. His instruments are made with respect to craftsmanship and sustainability.

By actively applying his knowledge, experience and craftsmanship in the making of musical  instruments by hand knowledge is obtained, gained and preserved.

It is Luthier Gringhuis his goal is to maintain and promote craftsmanship and to succeed as a luthier in building quality instruments. Obtaining and preserving the know how and craftsmanship for the next generation to come.
