Jeff Guilford

Jeff Guilford comes from a family background of precision engineering; working in his father’s workshop from a very young age.
Having received his first guitar at the age of six, by the age of eleven music and guitar had taken hold. With academic degrees in music and guitar performance, it was inevitable that engineering and music would eventually meet. JJ Guitars manufacture for leading artists and musicians around the world and remain as a family concern with son Richard, and Jeff’s wife Carolyn.

Making electric guitars is a true passion. Having played guitar from the age of six I have always been intrigued with sound, especially the guitar. Working with beautiful woods and creating great sounding guitars is the true motivation for me personally. The whole experience becomes totally rewarding when I hear some of the worlds finest artists play my instruments, it is only at this point everything becomes special. The music always come first for me and I always have this consideration in my heart when making my guitars.
