Luthier Ferdinand Rikkers of Rikkers Guitars makes tailor-made bass guitars

Ferdinand comes from a family of musicians. His grandfather, his father and a lot of his family are professional bassplayers. He did not want to be a performing musician, because his sports (high jump, athletics, boxing) was to dear to him and he engaged in a very different love, the instrument making. Starting out out of necessity the first bass he made was sold. Then the second and the third. 30 years and hundreds of instruments later and still making instruments with the joy with which it began.

We put our heart and souls into making instruments for musicians. Creating guitars or bass guitars out of raw wood has become a necessity of life for us in the last 30 years.
